Arturo Ancona has a degree in law from the Anahuac University, and multiple degrees on specialized legal matters, and Doctor in Law from Panamericana University. He has worked as a consultant and legal advisor in various specialized offices in industrial property, trademarks, patents, technology transfer, copyright and telecommunications content.
In public sector, he has served as Director of the Public Registry of Copyright of the National Institute of Copyright (INDAUTOR), and Senior Consultant to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) proposed by the United Nations (UN). He currently serves as head of the Specialized Crimes against Copyright and Industrial Property (UEIDDAPI), of the Attorney’s General Office.
He is the author of the book The copyright in the Audiovisual Work, published by Editorial Porrúa, and has participated as a columnist and writer in various specialized journals in industrial property, piracy, technology development, telecommunications content and innovation issues, including legal disciplines.
