Mexican Tax Administration Service

He was appointed Customs Research Central Manager on September 2014. Before, he acted as Consultants Coordinator for the Mexican Tax Administration Service.  He holds a master’s degree in Public Administration at Columbia University and obtained his Bachelor degree in Economics with a postgraduate degree in Public Economics at ITAM.

Between 2008 and 2010, he was named Private Secretariat of the General Coordinator of Ports and Merchant Marine from the Ministry of Communications and Transport, and Consultant of the Minister of Communications and Transport from 2007 to 2008.

From 2003 to 2007, he participated with the Competitiveness Study Center at ITAM, where in the last two years acted as coordinator for research assistants. As a member of the Competitiveness Study Center, he has participated on the development of the following studies: Opportunities Identification of the High Impacted Business to Drive the Competitiveness in the Honey and Dairy Systems; Analysis and Proposal for a Simplification of the SMEs Fiscal Regime; Assessment of Las Américas Complex Impact; Competitiveness Study of the Fishing Sector; Evaluation of the Tianguis Turístico, among others.
