She has a Ph.D. in English Literature with focus on Colonial Literature.
Kavita is an engaging public speaker and training strategist, specializing on topics ranging from the “Critically Changing world of Compliance in Pharma”, “Compliance and Business Performance: a formidable duo” to “Social Media in a Regulated Environment”, “ and “Anti-bribery, antitrust, and Ethics of Compliance.” She travels frequently, giving talks and training as a thought leader in the areas of good manufacturing practices, the changing blueprint of global med device and Pharma. She speaks four languages fluently, and specializes in the compliance challenges of emerging markets.
Kavita also brings with her a diversity of other talents, including a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma and 7 years of experience as a newscaster on national television in India. She has translated two books from Hindi to English, and has deeply explored topics such as Emotional Intelligence and Change Management

She has more than 15 years of global experience in pharmaceutical industry, with expertise in the area of regulatory and compliance training and strategy in Pharma and medical device sector. She is well known in the industry in the area of global compliance, code of conduct, anti-bribery, antitrust, especially in the APEC regions. She also has a wide experience in the area of Learning Technology and e- learning, with a strong commitment to get the right training to the right people at the right time. Her diverse global experience includes leading Learning and Development teams in Germany, Japan, France, China, England, and India, in addition to managing large global teams towards strategic and business goals.
She is currently working as a Strategic Global Head to for UL, where she is managing and leading relationships with USFDA, Government of India, CPIA China AdvaMed, PCPC, DIA, and other advocacy groups and trade associations in the USA.

Earlier, she was with Sanofi for 10 years, where she led strategic Global Learning and Development programs for more than 25,000 employees. She also served as the Technology Head during the merger of Sanofi and Aventis, utilizing her expertise towards effective change management. She has served in companies such as Pfizer, Reckitt Benckiser and Bristol Myers Squibb, with focus around Quality, GMP, and compliance.
