Luis Andueza joined Norton Rose Fulbright’s Caracas office in 2001 as partner in charge of the public law and competition department. He received his law degree from Universidad Catolica Andres Bello, his Master of Laws from Temple University and Masters in Business Administration from Warwick University.

Mr. Andueza specializes mainly in the areas of administrative law, constitutional law, regulatory and compliance legislation, but also in competition/antitrust law and he has extensive experience in government-related contracts.

Apart from his private practice, he has been Justice of the First Court of Contentious-Administrative matters; the second highest court in the country which handles all judicial appeals against decisions made by the Venezuelan Competition authority, assistant to a Justice-President of the Supreme Court and has acted as consultant to British Telecommunications plc in England.

Mr. Andueza has been ranked by prestigious publications in 2015 as a leading individual in competition, public law and life sciences. He has also been included in the Latin American Corporate Counsel Association’s Approved list of recommended lawyers for 2015.
